Drawing salves have been used for centuries to help “draw out” small splinters and other foreign objects in the skin, while helping to reduce the chance of infection and assist the body with healthy wound healing. We use a combination of ingredients that are naturally “drawing” like plantain, chickweed, activated charcoal and bentonite clay. These help to draw out both the foreign object as well as any irritation they might be causing. This salve can be used for splinters, bug bites and bee stings
To use: Clean the area well. Apply a generous amount of salve on the splinter and cover with gauze or a band aid. Leave the bandage on for several hours or overnight so it has time to work. Some things might require more than one application. When you remove the bandage, wash well with soap and water.
Caution: This will stain clothing so be sure to cover it well.
